Selection (FamPat, Fullpat and Fulltext)
The record being viewed will be highlighted with a light blue background in the results list. This background highlighting will change to white when a different record is selected.
Most of the functions (export, similarity search, etc.) are accessible only after one or more documents have been selected. Then, the buttons appear in the toolbar. Right clicking on the toolbar will bring up a list giving you the option to display the labels for the icons and select or deselect buttons for display in the toolbar when it is activated.
You can select all documents in the list by clicking on the Select button once or clicking on the small arrow to the right of the Select button and selecting All records from the dropdown menu. All selection boxes next to the records in the list are then checked and the documents in the list of results appear on a yellow background.
All the documents displayed on a page can be selected by clicking on the check box in the column header next to the Title column header or by clicking on the Select button and selecting Current page. Records can be selected one by one by clicking on the check box next to each one or by using the Range option given by the Select button. With that, you set the beginning and end list numbers of the records you want to select and then click OK.
To deselect, click None.

An email message is sent to you containing the publication numbers and titles in its body. By clicking on a number, you may view the detail of the document (only Biblio with Image available).

This function is available when displaying the results of a list. Once you have selected one or more records, click on the Delete button to remove them from your list.
Display (FamPat, Fullpat and Fulltext)
Clicking on the All button, available when searching in the Fulltext collection, gives you a listing of results broken down by country. From this list you can choose to display only results from a particular country.
Print (FamPat, Fullpat and Fulltext)
The printer icon 
will print the list of results as it
appears in the display. If you wish to print the list in a different format
click on the Display button and select one of the following
formats from the dropdown menu to change the appearance of the hitlist:
Compact, Abstracts, KWIC, Drawings, and Custom
display. In addition to printing the list, you can save it from this
printer-friendly view.
Right click on a result
With a right click on a record in your hitlist, you display the Select, Move or Duplicate, Export, Email (permalinks), Patent Copies, Archive, More like this, Citations, Top, All, and Sort options.
