Facsimile patent copies from more than 30 countries are available from Questel’s collections and the following patent authorities collections: German, US, Australian, Canadian, European, Chinese, Japanese, Taiwanese and Korean Patent Offices. The availability of documents is dependent on the contents of the archives of these offices. There may be gaps in PDF coverage for some countries.
Note: If you have used a sub-account when logging in to orbit.com, the PDFs will be placed under that sub-account in the patent portfolio.
Select the documents for which you would like PDFs by clicking on the corresponding boxes. The limit is 200 documents per order.
Two choices are offered:
•Options: a window opens and Orbit asks you to order:
Representative member only: Order only one PDF per family. The representative member selection is dependent on the User setting preferences.
All stages of the representative member: Order PDFs of all published documents of the representative family member.
Entire family: Order PDFs of all family members countries covered by Patent Delivery Service.
The following formats:
•Full PDF
•First page
•Drawings mosaic
And the following delivery options:
•Add to portfolio: the following message appears: “Your PDF copies are ready. Your order has been delivered to your portfolio. Click here to open your portfolio.”
•Receive by Email: the following message appears: “Your PDF copies are ready. An email will be sent.” In the email body, there is a link to the corresponding facsimiles. The PDFs are also stored in your portfolio of originals.
Clicking on Save and Order orders the PDFs. Clicking on Cancel closes the assistant.
•Open my portfolio: With this option, you can directly access your portfolio of originals. The PDF files remain stored in your portfolio for 30 days after the order date.
•
•When you click on the button icon (rather than the black arrow), the PDF order runs based on the most recent options chosen.
•
