The compare function is accessible from the button in the family table.
Clicking Compare allows you to compare the claims and descriptions of two documents. A window opens and allows you to choose the left and right documents. Click “Select on left” and the list of numbers from all equivalents in the selected family appears; you can selected whichever one you choose. Next, you have two options: If you want to compare documents from the same family, go into the same list of numbers when you click “Select on right”; if you want compare two documents from separate families, then after selecting left for a document from the first family, go to the second family in the hitlist and the list of numbers from the second family will appear at right.
The Cancel button closes the comparison window.
The Clear button suppresses your selection.
The Compare button launches the comparison.
